In between Dec-Mar, the area steep snow-capped mountains and resting amidst a bright green carpet of alpine forest, the golden/silver beauty of Tsogmo Lake is bound to leave you in awe. Changu Lake is a glacial lake that derives its water from the melting snows of the mountains surrounds. this lake is famous for color changing waters.

Lachen, Best Time: May - June for Trekking
            Lachen is one of the most beautiful towns in the northern district of Sikkim, an attractive tourist spot well known for its Lachung monastery. It should be commended for its natural beauty and serene foliage. Lachen is a beautiful holiday destination that is less populated, also known as the gateway to the sacred Gurudongmar and Tso Lhamu lakes.

              The most prevalent region in Lachen is Himalayan Buddhism's Nyingma order, and the Lachen Monastery, Lachen Chu, and Alpine encompass.            Lachung, a tourist hotspot in North Sikkim, is a beautiful location on the spot. Due to the many waterfalls that gush in this area, this town is a popular tourist attraction. It is also possible to catch glimpses of snow-covered mountains from this place and offer a spectacular view. Lachung is also a favorite base for visiting Sikkim's famous Yumthang Valley.
          Lachung is a small town in Sikkim that every year has majestic mountains all around that attract tourists to come here. It's that beautiful town of Sikkim that has several mountains covered in snow, sparkling rivers, cliffs, spectacular waterfalls, and much more. Yumthang Valley, Best Time: March to May
                North Sikkim's popular Yumthang Valley is 140 km north of Gangtok. This is a rare and exotic location with hot springs, lakes, yaks and lush green meadows, popular as the "Valley of flowers." Located at an altitude of 3570 mtr, this beautiful valley is a paradise for nature lovers as it houses the sanctuary of Shingba Rhododendron with over 24 varieties of Rhododendron flowers (blooming from Mar-June).
Yumthang Valley
              Between December to March, Yumthang Valley is closed to visitors due to the region's heavy snowfall. There are a few hot springs in Yumthang Valley, which tourists frequently visit as they are believed to have miraculous healing power. Apart from a celestial green meadow, there is plenty of plum green forest in Pine and the field is lined with silver fir trees.
West Sikkim

        Pelling, a beautiful town in Sikkim's western district, after Gangtok, has become Sikkim's second-largest tourist destination. Located 10 km from Geyzing and 135 km from Gangtok, the site's main attraction is the amazing view of the Khangchendzonga and its neighboring peaks. The famous monastery of Pemayangste is less than a kilometer away and is a major tourist hotspot. Pelling also has mountain biking, rock climbing, village tours, meditations as well as serving as a base for a number of treks in the region. Pelling's scenic town is a perfect holiday destination for all lovers of nature and adventure. Pelling, a beautiful small town at a height of 6900 ft was initially covered with thick wild forest that served as home to much indigenous wildlife of that period, including Wildman (maybe not yeti though). Located between two old Buddhist monasteries (Pemayangtse and Sangacholing), this ridge has developed into a full-fledged village called Pelling.
Barsey, Rhododendron Sanctuary
           Barsey is best known for its Barsey Rhododendron Sanctuary, a haven for nature lovers, situated at an elevation of 9,800 ft. The sanctuary itself is part of the Western Sikkim and is easily accessible by road via Geyzing's Hilley, Dentam/Soreng. However, the idea is simply spectacular if you are planning a nice trekking trip. 
Barsey, West Sikkim
                 The Rhododendron Sanctuary of Barsey has about 600 varieties of Rhododendrons and other flora species. Spread over an area of near about 100 sq. Km, the place is famous for being home to the rare Himalayan species Red Panda and Black Bear. Leopards, wild dogs, foxes, jackals, deer, Himalayan Palm civets can also be found here, among other animals.
South Sikkim
Ravangla, Time: Throughout the Year

              Ravangla, located at the base of Menam Hill, a small town in South Sikkim, with a phenomenal view of high forest hills, rolling valleys marked with village huts is an ideal holiday destination. It lies on the edge separating the Teesta Valley from the Rangit Valley and this town's main attraction is the spectacular snow-covered peak view. Ravangla, along with its sister peaks of Pandim, Kabru, Sinialchu, and many others, offers amazing views of Kanchenjungha.

Statue, Namchi
           Namchi, the district headquarters of the South District, is a prosperous market town that has rapidly developed into a tourist hotspot. Namchi literally means "Top of the Sky" and the two giant statues are the main tourist attractions of Namchi. Such two giant sculptures face-off opposite hillsides across Namchi and draw a number of tourists every year.
        Namchi is the capital of the South Sikkim district, which, due to its pilgrimage centers, is rapidly becoming a tourist hotspot. The largest statue in the world is also located here and worth seeing. A number of luxury hotels are set up in Namchi, and the existing ones have good facilities for you to enjoy a comfortable stay.
            Borong is a small, nice village near Ravangla in South Sikkim, which has recently gained notoriety due to the increasing popularity of village tourism and ecotourism activities. With the Himalayan Mountains in the background, Borong is an ideal place for those looking for peace and calmness. Borong, a scenic village at an altitude of 5900 ft in South Sikkim, is the perfect tourist spot for nature lovers.
